VIS4BEER. VIsion Sensors for Bottling linE Efficiency impRovement
The VIS4BEER was successfully completed. The project has the goal of minimizing the scraps in automatic production lines (zero-defect manufacturing) and increase safety and ergonomy by means of smart machine vision systems based both on artificial intelligence algorithms coupled to edge-computing and ruled-based algorithms coupled to embedded controllers.
2 application cases have been selected and 4 prototypes developed and installed in the Heineken production plant of Pollein (AO).
