Infrared pyroelectric photodetector
Characterized by high performance in terms of responsiveness, low noise and integrated channel for temperature measurement (measurement compensation of 0-50 ° C), the photo detectors used in the Novagas sensors are state of the art for monitoring applications of the gas concentration.
Solid State Source IR
Novagas sensors integrate IR MEMs emitters consisting of an integral resistive heating element on a thin dielectric membrane. Spectral emission characteristics are “black body” with high emissivity, low power consumption and high average life with constant emission characteristics.
Gas analysis cell
The optical gas analysis cell has been designed using non-sequential ray-tracing SW tools to maximize the effective length of the optical path in the smallest possible footprint to achieve the required performance. The gas analysis cells are built of highly reflective aluminum or AISI 316 (and two calcium fluoride optic windows) for the versions used in aggressive industrial environments to limit corrosion.
The Novagas sensor is a “smart sensor”. Its electronic board is equipped with a powerful microprocessor for computing the concentration measurement, I / O, diagnostics and can also be selected in the wireless data transmitter version, with battery power management and the use of solar panels for charging, etc.
