The 07/26/2017 took place the final review meeting of Novasens project (Innovative sensory system platform for the smart sensing of pollutant and toxic gas emissions).

The project lasting two years, has the goal to develop an innovative compact, low cost and “smart” sensor prototype for the monitoring of air quality based on TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorpition Spectroscopy) technique. At the presence of personell of the Aosta Valley region and Finaosta, Novasis and INRIM researchers showed the functionalities of the two developed prototypes. The first one able to measure CO2 concentrations in the range of 99.5 -100% vol. with 50ppm accuracy and about +/- 200 ppm repeatability. The second one for the NH3 detection in the range of 0-1000 ppm with 2ppm accuracy and about +/- 0.3 ppm repeatability.
