In the context of Iot4industry project, funded by the H2020 research program, TRICE project has received a voucher to integrate IoT and related components into manufacturing tools through the cross-border collaboration between SMEs and advanced manufacturing sectors. Novasis Innovazione and JDEUS (part of the DENSO group) are collaborating to develop an IoT smart sensing machine suited to log and store in-line process parameters of a production machine, especially an aluminum fin-forming machine in a heat exchanger assembly line.
The optimization of the process using an automatic decision engine and the deployment of vision and optical metrology systems will improve the performance of the manufacturing system, minimizing the machine faults and increasing the quality of corrugated fins.
Next November 7th the mid-term meeting will take place at the premises of MESAP innovation cluster.
